Written by Megan C. Hills, CNN

The days of stadium concerts may feel like a distant memory, but singer-turned-photographer Bryan Adams is recreating the touring lifestyle with the likes of Iggy Pop, Jennifer Hudson and Grimes for this year’s Pirelli calendar.

The 2022 edition of the star-studded calendar, themed “On the Road,” will see the Canadian rock star reimagining backstage moments with a cast of celebrity musicians.

Although the final images will not be unveiled until November, new behind-the-scenes photographs show Rita Ora kicking her legs up in a bathtub and Cher dragging red lipstick across a bright dressing room

Bryan Adams photographs Cher, Grimes and Iggy Pop for Pirelli calendar | Music

Images of recording artists including Cher, Iggy Pop, Jennifer Hudson and Grimes will feature in one of the world’s best known photographic commissions.

For the 2022 Pirelli calendar, the rock star and photographer Bryan Adams has captured superstar singers as if they were touring – precisely what they have been unable to do for more than a year.

Adams had planned a different project for the 2021 calendar but that was shelved because of Covid. When Pirelli approached him again he pitched the idea of touring.

Iggy Azalea accused of ‘Blackfishing’ with darker-looking skin in latest music video

In the video the rapper wears a brunette wig and some on social media have noted that her skin appears to be darker.

In response to discussion about her look on social media Azalea tweeted “I’m the same color as I always am, just in a dimly lit room with red lights.”

“It’s the same makeup from every other part of the video just with a Smokey eye and different wig,” the usually blonde rapper tweeted. Just ignore them, who cares? Let em talk.”

Iggy Azalea accused of ‘blackfishing’ in new music video, ‘I Am The Strip Club’

Iggy Azalea’s latest music video has the internet accusing her of blackfishing.

After the video for “I Am The Stripclub” dropped online, viewers noticed something off about the 31-year-old’s appearance — specifically her skin tone. Azalea, who normally has light blonde hair and is naturally quite fair-skinned, looked darker from head to toe. The look included long, sleek, straight black hair.

Page Six has reached out to Azalea’s reps for comment.

Needless to say, the response on social media to Azalea’s allegedly darker look was not a good one. It was a tweet from the clothing brand, boohoo, showing

Iggy Azalea Called Out for Blackfishing in New Music Video ‘I Am The Stripclub’

Iggy Azalea should know better by now. Ever since the white Australian-born rapper sauntered into the world of hip-hop on Louboutin heels with her breakout single “Work” in 2013, she has continually faced heat for appropriating Black culture.

But it’s now been a decade since Azalea first entered the industry, and she’s well-aware of the controversy she seems to routinely spark. So, why in the music video for her catchy, clubby new track “I Am The Stripclub,” would Azalea decide to push the boundaries even further?

The 31-year-old, born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, is seen in the first portion of

Iggy Pop ascends to greatness: Tom Copi’s best photograph | Photography

Iggy Pop and I went to the same high school in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I graduated a year ahead of him. I was not particularly into the local rock scene but I did photograph activities on and around the university campus, including a band called the Prime Movers, in which Jim Osterberg played drums. Later, Jim started a band called Iggy and the Iguanas, and thenceforth, he was Iggy.

I photographed Iggy’s new band the Stooges at the university’s Hill Auditorium. One of the pictures from that session in 1968 was later used on the movie poster to
