Special Exhibition Of Works By Renowned Chinese Dissident Artist Opens In Springfield

An exhibit of works by an artist and activist once described as “China’s most dangerous man” has opened in western Massachusetts. 

    Works by the contemporary artist Ai Weiwei, a human rights activist and vocal critic of the Chinese government, are on display at the Springfield Museums’ D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.

Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel was born poor and illegitimate in central France’s Loire Valley in 1883 and died at the Ritz in Paris in 1971 at the age of 87.

V&A exhibition will use 250 objects to highlight creativity of African fashion | Fashion

An exhibition about African fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum will attempt to reframe the narrative about the continent, showcasing its independence and creativity following decades of false assumptions.

Africa Fashion opens on 11 June 2022 and will feature 250 objects telling the story of the continent through the work of its most prominent and influential designers.

Noel Gallagher launches new online photography exhibition

Noel Gallagher has launched a new online exhibition showcasing a selection of photographs documenting his life on tour with the High Flying Birds.

The collection, titled A New World Blazing, contains over 40 images by photographer Sharon Latham, who captured Gallagher’s band “at their most dynamic and their most intimate” while out on the road.
