Professional mountain bike photographer reveals what’s inside his kit bag

Martin Bissig has a created a successful career by combining his three passions of mountain biking, traveling and, of course, photography. He’s currently one of only two Swiss ambassadors in the Canon Europe Ambassador program and is considered one of the most published outdoor photographers in Europe.

His travel reports in 2019 featured in more than 50 publications and 20 countries. In the last three years he’s been running photography workshops on composition, flash, story development and editing.

In September 1862, President Abraham Lincoln proposed emancipation as a war measure to coerce the surrender of the treasonous states, offering them the opportunity to maintain slavery if they ended hostilities against the Union, said Anthony Parent, a professor of history and American ethnic studies at WFU.

Community Lifestyle is a non-profit organization in Hoboken whose mission is to promote prosocial friendships, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope for the future. Actor Chris Noth on the return of live music in NYC

When actor Chris Noth learned that live music venues were allowed to re-open in New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic, he said it was “a big relief.”

A relief, not just because Noth is a huge music fan, but because he co-owns The Cutting Room, a live music venue and lounge in the city.

Best known for his lead roles in TV hits like “Sex and the City,” “Law and Order,” and “The Good Wife,” Noth opened The Cutting Room in 1999 with partner and Berklee College of Music alum, Steve Walter.

Frances Stein, a Fashion Force at Chanel and Elsewhere, Dies at 83

Frances Stein, who was a fashion editor, a fashion muse and a designer for Halston and Calvin Klein before helping to revive the house of Chanel, died on June 6 at her apartment in Paris. She was 83.

Her brother, Mark Patiky, confirmed the death but did not specify a cause.
